Our Story
Jill and Carla are good friends, experienced, licensed therapists and workshop leaders who created this program in response to a recognized gap in support for women within their community. Through their clinical practice and group facilitation, they observed the growing pressures women face and the limited spaces available for meaningful connection, reflection, and shared understanding.
They believe there is a distinct and valuable dynamic that emerges when women come together in a focused, supportive environment—one that encourages openness, insight, and personal growth. This setting allows women to be seen and heard in ways that are often difficult to access in everyday life.
In today’s fast-paced world, many women experience heightened stress, competing demands, and ongoing expectations to manage life at an unsustainable pace. Jill and Carla’s approach is designed to slow that pace, offering intentional space for support, reflection, and connection. Their work is grounded in clinical experience, compassion, and a deep respect for the complexity of women’s lives. All those who identify as women are welcome.
Women to Women offers 10 week support style groups, half-day and full-day workshops for women as well as team building workshops for groups of all sorts!
Testimonials from past group participants:
"The Woman 2 Woman group will always be a permanent part of my journey toward healing and self-love. It became a safe space for me, not just as a person but as a woman, and it showed up in my life at exactly the time I needed it most. Each week seemed to align perfectly with what I was going through, whether it was something new or something I had been quietly struggling with for years. This group gave me the strength and encouragement to finally face the things I had avoided for so long. One of the most unexpected and meaningful aspects of the experience was reconnecting with my creativity and discovering my passion for artistic self-expression. It reminded me how powerful and healing art can be. I will never stop recommending this group to every woman I know. I even got a tattoo of an image that I found to have a deep connection with, which I discovered in group. The leaders were incredibly strong, kind, and genuine—and their support helped me open up more each week. Because of them, I found a deeper sense of self-acceptance and love that continues to guide me long after the group ended." ~Anonymous
Being part of the women’s group helped me to reconnect with my creativity and express myself in new ways, all while feeling supported by a community of amazing women. I left each session feeling empowered, uplifted and more in touch with myself. ~ Elizabeth R.
I am so glad I made the decision to do the women to women workshops facilitated by Carla and Jill. It was hard to justify investing in myself, getting away from my family every other Saturday, and leaving my son. I was still breastfeeding at home, but ultimately, as women, when we invest in our own mental health, it benefits our families. I learnt a lot about myself in this group through reflecting on my experiences in a fun, playful way. I also had more empathy for my own parents and grandparents, hearing from the wise women across different cultures and ages in this group, and would highly recommend these workshops for the camaraderie and sense of belonging this brings. Thank you both, lovely humans. ~ Ava T.
I found these groups to be a wonderful way to understand myself and connect with others in a safe and fun atmosphere. Jill and Carla guided the groups with warmth and humor and I am grateful for the chance to participate. ~ Patricia E.
I was nervous about joining a group, but am so glad I did! Thank you amazing women, group members and Carla and Jill! ~Anonymous
